Day 7 (20/1/2005)
This is our last dae in Korea. Wil b takin a nite flight baq to Spore. We have to check out Grand Hilton (Seoul) 2dae. Actuali 2dae is free n easy but we decide to let the tour guide bring us ard.

As usual, we have breakfast (porridge n you tiao). Den we went to a retaol shop to buy Dong Cong Xia Cao. Veri expensive so we dint buy anitink. We den went Hardrock Cafe to take a look. The cafe is not opened yet but we stil get to go inside. Mandy, Eileen n Hoon Nee bought Hardrock T-shirt for their bfs n bro. I dint buy anitink as i hv already bought an A/X polo tee for deardear at Dongtaedom for his bdae. Den we went to Itaewon to shop for imitiation goods. The bags there reali looked like real stuff so r all veri expensive. We merely look at the bags onli, dint buy anitink. We went shopping at Myeong Dong. It is another street like Orchard wif mani shoping malls. I bought bag for my mom n a skirt for myself there.

Last minute shopping for local food at Ren Chuan. The food can b tested so u can buy wat u like. Inside got mani mani food but our $$ r almost finished so dint buy much. Aft shopping, we have to catch our flight back to Singapore. We take flight from Incheon Airport at 7.15pm back to Singapore. When we reach, its already 12.40am on 21/1/05 (deardear's bdae).

I have enjoyed myself veri veri much. Alhough cant get used to the wether at 1st but was stil fine aft tat. Hope u all wil enjoyed my entry. :P

Day 6 (19/1/2005)
Grand Hilton bed is so nice. Have a veri good slp. We have chinese porridge n you tiao for breakfast at foodsia (a resturant nearby). Thought we get to hv breakfast in Hilton but we dint. SO DISAPPOINTED!!! 2dae's journey abit boring. Going to all d historic attractions in Korea.. So dint take much pics.

1st we went Blue House (its d parliment hse). We dint get to go inside bcoz its too strict. Buses cant even stop. So we onli manage to take a look from inside the coach. Den we went to buy Ginseng at Tongchunghacho shop. We dint buy any coz its too expensive but a few of our grpmates bought. Den we went to buy Purple Crystal. They r so beautiful so i bought 1 for deardear's mother. Finaly we went shopping at Nu Ren Jie. There got alot of tinks but almost all winter wear so notink much to buy. I bought a bag for my sis there n bought sme long-sleeved shirts.

Aft shopping, we went to d National Museum n Palace to c hw the ppl used to lived. Den we went Dongtaedom to shop. It is a big shopping centre whea u can find almost everytink. But the tinks inside r veri veri expensive so we dint buy anitink. The street along Dongtaedom is like Orchard Road in Spore. Veri Veri crowded. So we decided to give up watching 'Storm' - a cultural performance in order to keep on shopping there. I bought a skirt at the next shopping mall called "Migliore". Ard 9pm, we took a cab baq to our hotel as we r all veri tired aft a dae's of shopping.

Day 5 (18/1/2005)
Morning call at 7.30am. We r going to check out of Yong Pyong Resort 2dae. So 2dae wil be another long journey as we have to go baq to Seoul.

B4 we left we have last min photo takin as the view outside is veri nice.

We again have American Breakfast at Yong Pyong Resort. Den we have to travel all d way down d mountain top baq to town area. We have spa at Hotel Mirada. We dint go to d spa indoors bcoz cant wear swimming costume inside. All d ppl inside are all naked. So we went to d spa outside. Its reali veri refreshing and wif the veri cold whther doing spa outdoors is veri veri shiok. This is whea we c snow falling. Thought we wil get to c snow at Yong Pyong Resort as it is a mountain top, but we dint.. A bit disappointed!! But get to c snowing during spa was a new experience.. So exited til we shouted veri loudly n all d ppl lookin at us like crazy ppl.. So embramssed.. We have lunch (BBQ) at a nearby resturant.

Aft lunch, we went to a shop whereas we get to make our own kimchi n try on Korean custume. 1st time doing kimchi n we can pack baq our kimchi for ppl in spore to eat.

Aft tat, we went Lotte World - Korea's another Asumsement Park (which consists of indoors n outdoors). We again have 3 hrs there. We played a few games. We oso sit inside a hot air balloon which wil travel one round inside the lotte wld whea u wil get to c d whole view. There is oso a parade inside.. Veri nice..

Aft lotte wld, we went to have our diner. 2dae's diner is Ginseng Chicken. I hate d taste of Ginseng but no choice hv to try a bit coz its diner. The chicken n soup dun have ginseng's taste but d rice have. So i onli finish d chicken n soup. For the rice, i dint even touch abit. Den we check in Grand Hilton (Seoul) hotel. finaly can rest aft a dae's of journey.

Day 4 (17/1/2005)
Morning call at 7.30am. 2dae we are goin to learn hw to ski.. So EXCITED!!!

We have Amercial Breakfast at Yong Pyong Resort. Den we learn hw to ski. We went to the centre to rent d ski shoes n ski board. The shoes n board are veri heavy and we have to carry it all d way out to the ski area. Sobz.. But luckily got MR Chng to help us. He is our photographer and he is veri kind n friendly. Whenever we got trouble, he wil be d 1 who help us. Our tour guide help us hw to ski. Skiing is fun but veri tiring as the shoes is veri heavy and we hv to clear all the snow on our shoes b4 we can put into the board. Its veri tiring as we cant c d snow on our shoes so we have to help one another to clear the snow. We have abt 4 hrs of skiing on our own. We oso have lunch at the ski area. But we dint ski d full 4 hrs as we r all veri tired so we went baq resort to relax. We oso took photos frm our resort.

Aft diner, there isnt any programme. As tmr morning we hv to check out of the reort, we decide to explore the surroundings ourselves. Took mani mani photos.

Day 3 (16/1/2005)
Morning cal at 7.30am.. So early!! time to start our journey again...

We have American Beakfast @ Riviera Hotel Restaurant. Have to gather at lobby at 9am aft breakfast. Den we went Everland (One of Korea's Theme park which is outdoors). We have 3 hrs there (cant imagine i hv to stay outdoors for so mani hrs under d cold whether). We went Sarafri Zoo whea we can c all d animals wild (whea they can roam abt freely). We oso c Korea's Liger (Tiger n lion's child - only in Korea)..

We oso play quite a few games like ski board, ferris wheel n flash pang pang on our own. We oso do sme shoppin in the shops.

We have hotdog n sme snack for lunch in Everland as lunch is not included for 2dae. Aft Everland, we supposed to go for a spa but the tour guide say it wil jam on the way to Yong Pyong Resort (whea we r goin to stay for 2 nites there). So in case of jammin for too long n get to the resort too late, we change our plan. We went up Yong Pyong Resort intead. But on our way up, we went to a ski rental shop to rent our ski equipment n clothes. Den we check into Yong Pyong Resort aft a few hrs of jam. We have diner (American Burger) at the lobby of Yong Pyong Resort.
The Yong Pyong Resort room is a double sty masionette whea the 1st sty has a kit, din area n liv area. The 2nd sty is d bedroom though the 1st sty can oso slp as we all slp on d flr like the Koreans. The flr is veri warm as stones which r hot aft heating r put under the platform.

Day 2 (15/1/2005)
Finally reach Incheon Airport (Seoul) aft 6 1/2 half flight at 6.30 in the morning. Korea time is 1 hr ahead of spore time so we actuali reach Seoul at 5.30 spore time. U all r stil slpin while I hv to start my journey in Korea.

B4 we went out of the airport, we change into our winter clothings as it is -8 degrees when we touch down. We cant get used to the weather when we went out of the Airport. Mandy keeps shouting she's veri veri cold even thought she wore 4 clothings already. We have our breakfast (udon) at a nearby restaurant. Den we went shopping at Namtaedom. Its like Chinatown when all the shops r in one whole stretch. But we dint do much shopping as its is reali reali veri cold, especially when the wind is blowing. so all we do is to get into one particular shop and stay there as there is heater in every shop. I bought a set of keychain in the shop.

Aft shoppin, we have our lunch at BK. Den we went to take Korea's newly opened Bullet Train to Tian An Ya Sha Stn whea our coach is waiting for us there.

Den we take coach to Ma Er Shan (a mountain which resemble horse’s ear). we took mani photos there. It is a mountain whea ppl went there to stack stones without d stones falling. The higher u stack, the higher d chance of wishes cuming true. There is also a temple on top of the mountain whea ppl went there to pray. Aft that, we have dinner (Emperor’s Meal- which is a normal meal in Korea) at the bottom of Ma Sha Shan.

Aft diner, its time to check in our hotel - Riviera Hotel. Aft a dea's of jourey, we r all veri tired. So we all hv a bath n went to bed as we stil hv a long dae tmr.

Day 1 (14/1/2005)
Stil have to work on 2dae. but gt a flight at 11.45pm. hv to reach airport @ 9.45pm so straight away aft work take a cab home to double check d tinks in my luggage, have diner n bath b4 i set off. Meet deardear at ard 8pm as we suppose to take train to airport. but in d end we took a cab there coz my luggage is too heavy. hee.. reach airport ard 9pm, den went mac to hv a drink while waiting for my collegues they all who supposed to meet up at 9.30. finaly its 9.30 so we went to meet my collegues at Terminal 2 Row 6 of Changi Airport. We check in our luggage b4 goin into DFS to do sme shopping as we stil hv some time b4 boarding the plane. soon its time to board the plane to KOREA..

Aft S.H.E concert, hv to get ready to go Korea liaoz.. goin on 14/1/05 n wil b baq on 21/1/05.. stil hv lots of tinks to do b4 i fly off.. like pack my bag, buy mani tinks n lend winter clothings frm my frens.. i stil hv two more daes to do all these tinks... so last min... sob sob.. hope stil gt time..
so excited!! i wil update my Korea when im baq.. c u guys soon.. bye n take care... MY FRENS!!! lookin forward to KOREA.....

S.H.E

Saturday, January 8, 2005. S.H.E concert!! Finaly cum to tis dae.. hv been waitin for the concert.. heard mani tinks abt the concert already so cant wait for it to cum.. rch Spore Indoor Stadium @ 7 (though the concert start @ 8). received a cal from Mandy at ard 5 sayin she oso goin to the concert. so last min.. she actuali bought her tixs an hr ago luckily stil gt tixs..

Waited for almost an hr b4 the concert start.. d stage is soo cool.. with dolphins hangin there.. they rise frm the bottom n sang 'Bo Si Mao'.. so nice... they sang mani mani songs.. but onli sang two of their new songs.. sob sob... but aniway reali enjoy their concert.. hope they wil cum again soon!!!

haha... veri long dint update my blog liaoz.. finally gt time to update now..
Tis is hw i celebrate my new yr eve...
Work til 1pm... Haiz... New yr eve stil hv to work... so poor tink... hee.. aniway... went home to change aft work den meet up wif deardear at ard 3+... hv already decide to go shoppin for my winter clothes (for my Korea trip in mid Jan) b4 meetin my poly frens; evan, mike, felix n changlin for our new yr eve's diner... went to suntec 1st as heard from some of my frens say gt sale there... but in d end dint buy anitink.. haiz... coz too x liaoz.. external cost ard $200 (scary ha)...

Shop til ard 7pm den went to Marina Square coz meetin my frens there 4 diner... Evan had already reserve 6 seats frm a restaurant called 'Parris' - a newly opened restaurant in MS.. Its a Int'l Seafood Resturant... Tis is my @nd time there... !sttime is wif my collegues... diner aft meetin which mean we dun hv to pay... but tis time is diff... hv to pay ourselves.. one person cost abt $50 (buffet aniway)... went in ard 8pm... den eat til 10pm... though its onli a 2-hr diner, i stil veri happi to b able to meet up wif them coz its reali long that we dint meet up liaoz... n 1 gd new is tat felix gt gf liaoz... its been 2 mths yet we dint noe anitink.. he's reali gd at keepin secrets... (reali happi 4 u)... evan n mike went bangkok durin x'mas n bought presents 4 us.. tat's veri sweet of them...

Aft diner, we decide to go One Fullerton to c fireworks... but due to the tidal wave, the whole tink is cancel... so sad... :( so we decide to follow felix to boat quay whea he meet his gf... (curious to noe who is d gal.. hee..) but we dint stay 4 long coz its too x... so we walk baq to One Fullerton in hope to hv a pl to sit, drink n wait for countdown... its already 11.30pm when we returned.. but all d pl r fully packed wif ppl... there's no pl we can sit down... (i hv walk d whole sae n my legs r veri pain)... so mike suggested we go 7-11 to buy drinks... den we hv to walk again to look for 7-11... by the time we reach, its 12mn... its NEW YEAR.... so we celebrate our 2005 at 7-11.. heee.... so we juz sit outside n chat for a while... the last train left orchard at 1 n we hv to take the last train in order to save $$ on cab..
